edinburgh claimants
EDINBURGH CLAIMANTS is an independent group of people claiming benefits. Unemployed, single parents, on the sick, on disability benefits, claiming housing benefit, in and out of jobs, whatever….
We support each other and other claimants in dealing with the benefits authorities and debt collectors. We encourage claimants to join together to fight back against harassment, benefit cuts, workfare schemes and debt collectors.
We see this as part of the wider struggle to assert people“s needs against the profit system.
