Before Stonewall (1985) (90 mins) dir. Greta Schiller
in 1969 the patrons of the Stonewall Inn in New York
fought back against a routine police raid with
three
nights of rioting. This film examines historical
background to this burst of political energy. It
moves
from the early twenties on using a wealth of archive
material and interviews.

Homotopia (2005, 35 mins) dir by Chris Vargas and Eric Stanley

love revolution not state delusion… set
in the near future-present Homotopia chronicles a
group of radical queers dedicated to exposing the
trouble with gay marriage, dismantling the State,
undoing Empire while looking totally fierce.

Shinjuku Boys (1995, 53 mins) dirs. Kim Longinotto & Jano Williams
This documentary follows some of the lives of three onnabe (women who live as men) who
work as hosts to women discontented with biologically born men at in a night club in Japan.
